Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay, the historical charm of the 16th-century building stood out, featuring original frescoes adorning the arched ceilings. The lobby's beautifully frescoed vaulted ceiling added a sophisticated touch to the ambiance. I particularly appreciated the classic Renaissance covered-porch on the second floor, offering a delightful view of the Market Square. The presence of the Serragli family's coat of arms on the front facade added a sense of heritage to the building. The hotel's central location near Palazzo Medici Riccardi allowed for convenient exploration of the surrounding area. The staff, especially Andrea, were welcoming and provided valuable insights for navigating the local attractions. The agreement with a guarded garage eased any concerns about parking. The blending of traditional architectural elements with modern services made for a pleasant stay at this establishment.
